Over the course of this weekend we will forage the hedgerows for their autumnal treasures and make remedies from our harvest to fight the winter chills and ills.  We will also use common culinary herbs that provide fresh materials throughout the winter and discover how they can make potent winter medicines.

Learn to make:

  • Infused oils
  • Salves
  • Medicinal vinegars
  • Syrups
  • Tinctures
  • Infusions & decoctions

We will take time to study the plants we are using discovering how they make us feel.  In addition we will practice using our senses, retraining sensitivity, so that our bodies can tell us where the remedies are going in our bodies and what they are doing.
